ebroker talks about data analytics and AI at an Anban event

Last Thursday, Higinio Iglesias, CEO of ebroker, participated as a speaker in the first physical event of Anban. ‘The importance of Data in different Asturian Sectors’, held in Gijón and in which he spoke about the experience of the technological platform in the application of data science in the insurance sector, as well as the projects that it is currently carrying out in this sense.

In his speech, Higinio Iglesias, who shared the stage with Irene Arellano, Data Scientist at Merkle, Manuel Souto, Data Scientist at Bedrock, and Paula Pulido, Software Programmer at Iturcemi Ingeniería, spoke about data analysis and how ebroker technological developments For its management and exploitation, they help insurance brokers in their professional activity, adding value to different business processes.

Recently, ebroker joined the National Big Data and Analytics Association (Anban) seeking to strengthen the analysis and use of data in the hands of the largest Spanish Big Data association. Anban is made up of more than a hundred collaborating partners that pursue the objective of uniting three pillars of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data in Spain: Universities, specialized professionals and technicians, and companies that want to implement and develop AI systems and models. in its strategies, and on which ebroker will rely to promote all its activity related to data processing, its exploitation and analytical use at the service of the community of user insurance brokers.

Sofía González, member of the Data Analytics team at ebroker and representative of Anban in Asturias, was in charge of organizing and directing the event as hostess at the Coworking Spaces Gijón facilities before more than fifty registered attendees who came from different areas and professional areas related to data analytics.
