Data engineer

Profile: Professional or student in the area of Systems Engineering, Electronics or Related with a minimum experience of 12 months in data engineering, Business Intelligence engineering, software development or related positions and a B1 level of English.

Job Objective: ULTRACOM Data Engineers design and develop efficient and scalable systems to collect, store, process and analyze large volumes of data in real time and/or in batches. In addition, they are in charge of ensuring the quality and integrity of the data, as well as implementing adequate security measures to protect the confidentiality of the information.

Principal functions:

  • Collect, process and store large amounts of data in data warehouses, Datamarts, Data Lake, Lake House, Delta Lake and other necessary storage structures.
  • Develop data integration flows in different programming languages.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and Databases.
  • Design and develop dashboards and control panels.
  • Analyze and visualize data to identify patterns and trends.

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Programming languages Python, SQL, Scala, DAX
  • Relational databases both SQL and Non-SQL
    ETL Tools
  • Knowledge of data storage platforms such as Datalake, Data Warehouse, Datamart, Lake House, Delta Lake.
  • Big Data tools especially Hadoop, Spark, HIVE, Databricks

BI engineer

Job Objective: ULTRACOM Business Intelligence (BI) Engineers are experts in using data analysis technologies and tools to provide organizations with a comprehensive and in-depth view of their operations. Through the collection, integration, transformation, consolidation and presentation of data, they are able to identify relevant patterns and trends, which allows them to help companies make informed decisions and improve their efficiency.

Principal functions:

  • Transform data that serves as input for the development of analytical models.
  • Design and develop Business Intelligence (BI) models
  • Design and create dashboards and interactive reports for data visualization.
  • Develop data integration flows in different programming languages.
  • Consolidate data in data warehouses, Datamarts, Data Lake, Lake House, Delta Lake and other necessary storage structures.

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of visualization tools, especially Power BI
  • Knowledge of ETL services on AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Knowledge of serverless services in AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Knowledge of data storage platforms such as Datalake, Data Warehouse, Datamart.
  • Programming languages ​​Python, SQL, DAX
